Pineda, et al. v. Turner Construction Company, et al, Civil Action No. 2018 CA 008575 B (D.C. Sup.)

This wage theft collective action was brought on behalf of former employees of Turner Construction Company and Dynamic Contracting, Inc., alleging these employers failed to pay workers lawfully-owed wages and overtime premiums for work related to the construction of Audi Field, the new home of the Major League Soccer team D.C. United, in Southwest Washington, D.C.  The Complaint alleges that while employed by Defendants at the Project, the Plaintiffs regularly worked in excess of forty hours per week but were not paid at the required time and a half overtime rate for this work.  Additionally, the complaint alleges that the Defendants failed to pay Plaintiffs and similarly situated workers at rates guaranteed to them under governing project labor agreements.
