Nirali Vyas

Nirali Vyas (she/her) is a Fellow at Handley Farah & Anderson, where she works on consumer protection and antitrust matters.

Nirali is passionate about worker and economic justice and has a track record in public service. Prior to joining HFA, Nirali was an Appellate Law Clerk for Hon. Katharine E. Lum at the Colorado Court of Appeals. Nirali was also a Fellow with the Colorado Attorney General’s Office, where she represented various state agencies in court and in administrative proceedings.

During law school, Nirali interned for Kakalec Law, PLLC, a plaintiff-side employment law firm, the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of the Solicitor, AARP’s Legal Counsel for the Elderly, New Jersey Division on Civil Rights, and the University of Georgia First Amendment Clinic. She additionally served as a student attorney at the Vanderbilt Youth Opportunity Clinic.

Nirali obtained her B.A. from The College of New Jersey and her J.D. from Vanderbilt University School of Law, where she was a Chancellor’s Law & Justice-Moore Family Scholar as well as an Authorities Editor for both the Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law and Social Justice Reporter. Nirali also presided over the Women Law Students’ Association, served as a mentor to first-generation law students, and was selected as a Fellow for Vanderbilt University’s Cal Turner Program for Moral Leadership and the Initiative for a Representative First Amendment project at Harvard University’s Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society.

Prior to law school, Nirali was a Research and Program Associate for the Brennan Center for Justice’s Money in Politics team and a Program Assistant at the Social Science Research Council.

Nirali is fluent in Hindi, and admitted to the Colorado bar. Outside of work, she likes to spend her time on fitness, travel, and developing fusion cuisine recipes.
