HFA Files Lawsuit on Behalf of Construction Workers Denied Wages by Foulger-Pratt and Manganaro Mid-Atlantic

Jul 30, 2018

Handley Farah & Anderson filed a lawsuit in D.C. Superior Court on behalf of a group of former employees of Foulger-Pratt and Manganaro Mid-Atlantic, alleging these employers failed to pay workers promised wages and overtime premiums for work related to the construction of The Modern, a residential building in Northeast Washington, D.C.  The Complaint alleges that while employed by Defendants at the Project, the Plaintiffs regularly worked in excess of forty hours per week but were not paid at the required time and a half overtime rate for this work.  Additionally, the complaint alleges that the Plaintiffs were paid nothing for certain weeks of work.
